In order to get to work each morning and return home in the afternoon, I take the Metro bus… It takes me about 45 minutes or so to make it to work, which affords me time to read or listen to various podcasts and the like. Today we had a few detours due to construction and some crazy drivers that cut us off. Hats off to the drivers. However, it is interesting to see how people attempt to be “normal” while doing so on a moving and sometimes stopping bus. Walking at an angle, like they didn’t have their V8, huge weight lifting men taking baby steps, and wide stances all contribute to an interesting circus of physics. It would be a comedy, for sure, if someone from another culture saw us.
